Position Overview

This newly created position will oversee the operational and Financial performance of ActionCOACH. This includes overseeing financial strategy, operational efficiency, resource management, and risk management. The role will be critical in partnering with the senior leadership team in strategic decision-making. You will lead an experienced finance team, ensuring the company’s financial health and driving the financial strategy aligned with the business's established growth plan. You will also collaborate with departmental heads to implement best practices and ensure smooth workflow across departments.

The role requires a strong communicator who will be comfortable representing operational and Financial business areas to the senior leadership team to help drive commercial decision making, as well as constructively challenge and add value to the wider business. Essential Job Functions (Operational)

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company across all departments.
  • Work with departmental heads to improve operational processes and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity and scalability.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to monitor performance and develop strategies to achieve company goals.
  • Assist and participate in the ongoing strategic planning process and execution to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the company’s operations.
  • Define and implement operational strategies that align with its goals, objectives, mission and vision.

Essential Job Functions (Financial)

  • Ensure Federal and State compliance in all finance matters for the company not limited to regular internal audits to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare reporting and communicate monthly financial information and key performance indicators to the senior leadership team.
  • Interface with external accountants and auditors for financial year end in US, UK and Australia.
  • Works collaboratively with other department heads to institute cost-saving measures, creation of annual budgets and ensure departmental accountability to budgets.
  • Oversee and manage organizational cash flow and finance capital.
  • Create and implement operating processes and procedures for the finance department.
  • Monitor company subsidiaries as well as consolidated and intercompany financial transactions.
  • Review financial aspects of all proposals and contracts.
  • Perform other duties assigned in relation to the financial management of ActionCOACH and related subsidiaries.

Qualifications, Skills, Ability & Knowledge

In addition to sharing our vision for World Abundance through Business Re-education to be successful in this role you will have;

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA, CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Proven experience in a COFO, CFO, or similar executive. Applicants with franchise industry experience will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in a similar hands-on financial or commercial manager role, preferably in the franchising field.
  • Demonstrated competency in strategic planning and business development.
  • Previous exposure to financial Intercompany, multi-currency and consolidation principles is essential.
  • Interactive, KPI driven, high energy, solutions oriented and with entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship management, consultation, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP preferably within the franchising industry.
  • Excellent financial modelling, data analysis, project management, and critical thinking skills with a strong work ethic.
  • This position might require attending meetings outside of regular hours and beyond the standard hours to meet business needs.

  • Occasionally will need to reach with hands and arms, lift up to 25 pounds, climb/balance, stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl and push/pull file cabinet drawers.
  • Must be able to identify and assess information on computer screens and written reports and documentation and record accurate written and electronic messages and reports.
  • Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols and eye/hand coordination.
  • Position requires occasional (20%) travel within the local area, traveling to office and business locations to conduct business transactions. This involves exposure to weather conditions, traveling distances to and from buildings, and operating a vehicle.
  • Ability to Comply to the Company Drug and Alcohol Policy as a requirement of a position that could adversely affect the safety of others.
