About the Position
The Channel Success Director(CSD)is a critical role to the continued successful growth of Dayforce sales. The CSD is a part of the Global Partner Organization and overlays the direct sales force.
The CSD will have primary responsibility for executing regional strategies specifically focused on driving net new revenue sourced from our influence partner channels, which is primarily focused on, but is not limited to, Insurance/Benefits brokers, Financial Institutions, Franchisors, and other who support clients in the process of sourcing and selecting HCM technology.
They will work closely with the direct sales team in their area of responsibility conducting marketing, business development and opportunity management. In addition, they will act as a central point of contact and liaison between Dayforce and its influencer channel partners to support successful relationships with both new and existing accounts.
About the opportunity
Initiate, Manage, Maintain and Grow Influencer Relationships

  • Drive overall strategy engaging influencers and their clients – particularly focused on top target accounts in the region.
  • Effectively manage and expand relationships with top target influencers in their assigned area of responsibility
  • Support the direct sales team in managing pipeline development and providing ongoing status/performance updates to partners, and the Senior Sales Leadership team.
  • Hold a deep level of understanding about the prospect’s evaluation cycle and buying process and stay engaged with client, influencer and Dayforce sales team throughout buying cycle.
  • Territory analysis and gap identification on both influencer information: clients, structure, strategy, etc. and target client information from direct sales team. Create plan to fill gaps.
  • Leverage marketing automation tools, and support lead generation efforts driven by campaigns, direct mail, tradeshows, social media, face to face events, and webinars to engage prospective influencer partners in discussions about Dayforce.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to capture all relevant information in appropriate sales tools(like Salesforce.com).
  • Daily activities will require on-going expertise in overall value proposition tied to Dayforce’s suite of products and services and the ability to discuss the technology used to deliver all of Dayforce’s solutions.
  • Have in-depth conversations with all levels of an influencer organization – from Partners/Owners/CEO to Analysts about the value Dayforce HCM provides companies. Share customer success stories and nurture C level executives over a period of time
Creates New Opportunities
  • Aggressively develops new business opportunities and new partnerships and drives partner activity in order to maximize sales, total partnership potential and incremental pipeline growth using sales best practices, marketing programs, and education tools
  • Consistently leverages Dayforce tools and processes to find opportunities and capture market share via a systematic and disciplined approach
  • Leverages marketing efforts and resources to drive programs and events to promote partners and generate leads.
  • Lead the team in creation, ideation, and execution of social selling and sales enablement
Maintains Accurate and Timely Customer, Pipeline and Forecast Data
  • Captures all relevant information in CRM system to track opportunities and calls through to final disposition
  • Follows all defined processes and timelines (ROE, SOW requirements, deal review process, price sitting, service level requirements, demo scripts, expenses, etc.)
  • Keeps current on Dayforce processes and any relevant changes
  • Monitors and provides regular updates on competition, competitive issues, and product positioning
  • Provide awareness of marketing programs to the sales organization, determining levels of engagement and alignment with sales goals
Exhibits Technical Proficiency
  • Able to highlight the overall value proposition tied to Dayforce’s suite of products and services. Navigates, demonstrates, and explains Dayforce’s key application functions
  • Speaks to overall approach of implementation
  • Provides an overview of the structure, SLAs and advantages of Dayforce’s services
Skills and Experience we value
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of sales, specifically focused in selling technical solutions through group insurance broker relationships required.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate marketing and strategic initiatives that will drive referral activity
  • Ability to understanding of large/enterprise business model
  • Computer literacy with standard office applications and experience using a sales force automation tool (CRM).
  • Direct industry experience in the HCM, Financial Services, Franchises, or Accounting industries working with and selling to Senior HR and C-level roles, preferred
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, able to build rapport with all contacts
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Highly adaptable and able to manage through change
  • Excellent organizational skills, highly disciplined
  • Tenacious, driven to succeed attitude, entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization
