DUTIES:
Provide needed expertise, continuity, oversight, and support to CGA leaders and the leadership facilitators, growing leaders of character during each cadet’s 200-week journey. Provide advice as a subject matter expert, consultant, and advisor to the Cadet Division senior leadership and staff.
Oversight / alignment of the execution of the CGALDP using the LEAD Strategy. Provide guidance to those responsible for CGALDP core programs and courses to ensure integration of curriculum, assessments, and continual improvements. Co-Chair Leadership Assessment Team (LAT) and implements CGALDP annual improvement cycle.
Responsible for the Leader of Character Information System (LCIS) and is custodian and steward for its data. Coach the Company Officers & Chiefs in experiential Leader Development, adult development, training / education techniques, and student affairs.
Optimize the integration of co-curricular experiential programs with academic coursework. Utilize student outcome assessment instruments and data analysis to inform CGALDP cycle of continual improvement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1. Master’s degree in a field strongly connected to education, training or Leader Development.
2. 10 years in training, education, Leader Development or equivalent professional experience.

3. Leadership Studies
4. Data Analysis
5. Project Management
6. Familiarity with the Coast Guard and Coast Guard Academy programs
