Summary
To provide program support to the Early Childhood Division through office and reception duties.
Duties
- Serves as attendant for telephone system including answering/screening calls, respond to inquiries, relay messages.
- Serves as attendant for door security system (monitoring who is entering the building)
- Provide translation for Spanish speaking parents
- Operates personal computers and office machines
- Meets and greets parents, family members and community representatives.
- Maintain appointment calendar including intake appointments
- Prepares letters, forms, and documents
- Assists with enrollment
- Participates in scheduled staff conferences and meetings
- Maintains database for program requirements.
- Notifies appropriate people of meetings
Requirements
- Spanish/Bilingual Required
- 2 years related secretarial experience and/or training that could provide the required knowledge
- Knowledge of office practices
- Personal qualities to relate to staff, parents, and the public
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an Early Childhood environment or a School setting a plus
