The Manager of Cash Services is responsible for overseeing all aspects of payment processing while ensuring strict compliance with investor, regulatory and legal company requirements. Position requires strong leadership skills that can develop and maintain high-performance teams. Manager shall ensure performance standards are maintained, while providing consistent coaching feedback to staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all Cash Service functions are performed in compliance with company, investor and/or regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate on technology planning efforts aimed at streamlining business processes, improving efficiency and performance.
- Ensure the timely and accurate posting and deposit of all funds received, both internally and externally.
- Direct staff on execution of senior management defined department goals.
- Provide cash processing KPI productivity reporting to senior management.
- Oversee the processing of all wire transfers and check disbursements.
- Manage MSP Edit reporting and ensure corrective application occurs timely and accurately.
- Ensure the timely reconciliation and resolution of outages of the Payment Clearing bank account.
- Manage vendor relationships, including but not limited to, lockbox processing provider.
- Ensure that proper internal controls exist and are applied consistently to prevent potential fraud and misallocation of funds.
- Develop, evaluate, and monitor compliance with controls and policy/procedures for area of responsibility.
- Oversee intra-quality control initiatives and remediate any findings, as appropriate.
- Execute on audit exams both with internal and external business partners.
- Build relationships with internal departments interfacing with Cash Service’s.
- Maintain knowledge of and adherence to internal compliance policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership to department and ensure performance standards are maintained, while providing consistent coaching and feedback.
- Identify skills required for each direct report and develop those skillsets.
- Evaluate staffing needs and make organizational change recommendations, where appropriate.
- Deliver salary recommendations for department, as applicable.
- Execute on other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
- 4-10 years related experience in a mortgage loan servicing management assignment with progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Previous MSP/ICE system experience, preferred.
- Specific management experience in Cash Management and/or Investor Reporting / Investor Accounting, is preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of building successful teams and delivering expected results.
- Requires excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

- Solid organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workflow.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Outstanding attention to detail is required.

- Current knowledge and understanding of GSE/FHA/VA/USDA/CFPB compliance regulations.
- Ability to direct and train staff with varying levels of skillsets.
- Possess strong analytical skills in order to research and resolve payment processing discrepancies.
- Proficient skills utilizing MS Office Suite (Excel, Word etc.)
- Ability to effectively partner with various departments, management, and vendor liaisons.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
