As the Manager, Order to Cash (OTC) Transformation, you will work with OTC leadership and operational teams to continuously improve key Customer and Credit management processes, operational performance, reporting and close processes. You'll develop and enhance processes to ensure the success of initiatives related to key OTC projects, operational performance, risk management, forecasting accuracy and cost savings initiatives. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Develop and drive continuous improvement for cash collections and related OTC forecasting needs
  • Research large volumes of financial and operational data to identify and interpret customer invoicing, payment and cash collection trends; assemble and summarize data to effectively communicate findings to leadership
  • Lead improvements to descriptive and actionable operational and financial reporting
  • and workflows through automation
  • Design and deliver standard reporting and analytical tools to support Division leads, Operations Management and Executive Management using a variety of software, including Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint and other financial planning software
  • Generate financial impact assessments for Continuous Improvement projects, track progress against stated estimates
  • Create templates and deliverables for Operational/Financial KPIs; identify methods to monitor performance against original assumptions; develop detective controls and predictive indicators
  • Drive standard work initiatives through process mapping and procedural documentation; develop framework for sustainable tracking and maintenance
What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 10+ years experience with Lean/Six Sigma management concepts and/or certifications (Process mapping/VSMs, waste identification, Root Cause Analysis tools, 5S, Project chartering, Communication and action plan follow-through, etc.)
  • Change-management experience through coaching, facilitating, and training.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle), HFM, financial planning software, Microsoft BI and related technologies
  • Experience with large databases with the ability to utilize data from various systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, PowerBI, SharePoint, etc.)
It'd be great if you also have:
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, CFA or applicable professional designation
  • Exposure to transactional financial services
  • Management experience
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
