Position Title:Cash Operations Manager

SUMMARY: Provides leadership to ensure accurate, efficient accounting activities in the Cage and Vault departments for all PTDC Casino operations. Establishes policies in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and internal controls.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
• Direct, organize, and monitor the activities of the Cage and Vault operations.
• Hire, train, and develop personnel to ensure adequate staffing levels to meet the needs of the Casino.
• Maintain an accurate and current record of inventory of cash and other items of cash value in the vault.
• Responsible for all funds in the vault system to include the accountability of all non-gaming receipts.
• Ensure an adequate currency to meet the daily needs of the cage operation.
• Safeguard casino bankroll.
• Prepare bank deposits and maintain adequate denominations of funds at all times.
• Create, implement, and assess training programs.
• Review daily cash receipts and disbursements through the Cage & Vault to ensure adequate funding levels at all times.
• Receipt in and verify all cash turned in by operating departments.
• Ensure compliance with MICS, Title 31, Tribal Gaming regulations, internal controls, policies and procedures, and tip reporting procedures.
• Execute payroll and performance management responsibilities as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Cashier and Vault supervisors.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general educational degree (GED) and at least two (2) years previous experience in Cage and Vault operations. Supervisory experience required. Associate's Degree in Accounting or Business preferred. Basic computer skills to include a working knowledge of word processing and databases required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Key Gaming License.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees, patrons, management, and directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to maintain Human Resources confidentiality. Must maintain professional behavior and possess exceptional customer and employee service skills at all times.
