Cannabis Extraction Lab Manager

We are a family-owned, award-winning, connoisseur Cannabis Extraction company looking for an experienced Extraction Lab Manager with a strong passion for cannabis and great leadership abilities. We are a close knit, team oriented business who supports creativity, new ideas, and personal growth. This position will work closely with the Owners, Operations Manager, and other team members to accomplish needed tasks within our OLCC licensed production lab. We are constantly pushing the boundaries of quality within the legal Oregon market and require all of our employees to hold themselves and their work to the highest standards.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

- Must be 21 years of age, have current OLCC workers permit, and H.S. Diploma.

- 3+ Years prior experience with hydrocarbon Cannabis Extraction, with a very thorough understanding of extraction principles, techniques, and safety protocols.

-2+ Years prior management or leadership experience, ideally within a lab setting.

- Complete understanding of distillation and its use in an Extraction Lab setting.

- Complete understanding of the extraction process, including principles of thermodynamics such as condensing and expansion as they pertain to hydrocarbons.

- Monitor and operate laboratory equipment such as passive closed-loop extraction systems, vacuum ovens, and dry scroll pumps with strict adherence to SOP's.

- Ability to lead and communicate clearly and concisely with team members and supervisors to report progress, issues, and improvements.

- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of extraction equipment and lab to ensure optimal performance and a clean work space.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.

- Able to stand for 8-10 hours while doing repetitive tasks with hands, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds

- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety/quality standards

This is a high level, potential salary position starting at $28.50/hr or more depending on experience. Additional bonuses and raises possible with respect to tenure, experience, and performance.

Schedule is Monday - Thursday, with some work needed on weekends.
