WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a passionate Field Research Program Manager to help drive a collaborative program creating new research capabilities and athlete* experiences. This role will work as part of a cross-functional team to strategize, implement, and deliver on program initiatives. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you'll work as part of a diverse team to define the strategy, program scope, deliverables, and work plan for development of complex new research platforms. You'll drive accountability with our partners across the Nike matrix by successfully navigating, aligning, and prioritizing varying workstreams to ensure project timelines and dependencies are met. The ability to effectively communicate with researchers, internal, and external stakeholders is vital. You will also lead some day-to-day operations and execute project deliverables for large-scale Field Research studies.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In this role, you will partner with scientists in the Nike Sport Research Lab, digital technology and engineering teams, data scientists, consumer insights experts, and innovation teams (digital, product, and service). You may also work with external technology and research partners. This position will report to the Director of Field Research.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 7+ years relevant work experience.
  • B.S. or advanced degree in kinesiology, biomechanics, mechanical engineering, or related field.
  • Strong program management experience, preferably focused on developing new digital innovations.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with wearable devices and other tools for human movement research.
  • An entrepreneurial attitude and default to action, combined with the patience to navigate a large, matrixed enterprise.
  • Outstanding skill in written and verbal communication, leadership, time management, and organization.
  • Strongly preferred: experience in the running field and passion for the sport.
