Job Title: Cannabis Account Specialist
Reports to: Director of Operations
Job Summary:
As the Cannabis Account Specialist, this individual provides timely and efficient service for all cannabis related account needs. This position will primarily handle the Cannabis Account workflow including review of documentation, communicating with customers on account items, opening of all cannabis related accounts, etc. The Cannabis Account Specialist must have extensive knowledge on all regulations and requirements the bank must abide by in order to bank cannabis businesses.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

§ Represents oneself and the bank in a positive, courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
§ Provides prompt, efficient, and accurate service in response to requests, inquiries, or problems concerning operational services provided by the Bank.
§ Maintains the entire Cannabis Account workflow throughout each stage of the account process.
§ Conducts all account opening responsibilities for Cannabis Accounts.
§ Ensures all required documentation is uploaded in a timely manner.
§ Prepares the monthly charge file for Cannabis Accounts, CBD accounts, Hemp accounts, etc.
§ Communicates effectively to frontline employees on customer needs.
§ Communicates effectively to all account officers for Cannabis Accounts being opened.
§ Works harmoniously with the BSA Department to ensure all outstanding needs are met and communicates any pertinent information for cannabis customers.
§ Assists with applicable BSA reporting – daily, monthly, annually.
§ Monitors and manages initial and annual site visits for customers.
§ Performs monthly cannabis reporting for accounts.
§ Complies with all relevant regulatory requirements.
§ Follows bank policies and procedures.
§ Performs other relevant duties as assigned.
Education Requirements:
§ High school diploma or equivalent required.
§ Some college preferred.
Qualification Requirements:
§ Excellent organizational skills.
§ Excellent client service skills, including interpersonal and communication skills.
§ Extensive knowledge and familiarity of the services offered by the Bank.
§ Proficient computer skills.
§ Friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic personality.
§ Professional appearance and actions.
Experience Requirements:
- 1-2 years of general banking experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
§ May require long periods of sitting.
§ Travel may be required to different offices.
§ May require long periods of typing and repetitive motion.
§ May require ability to lift over 25 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
