Job title: Intermediate Software Engineer
"Are you a talented Software Engineer looking for an exciting challenge? We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our Platform Engineering team. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies (AI/ML, Cloud Infrastructure)and contribute to the development of robust and scalable developer platforms."
What your day-to-day will look like:
Develop solutions to help improve developer experience with cloud infrastructure
Work with product engineering to iterate over software requirements
Automate/self service cloud infrastructure tasks through existing platforms
Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
Analyze and debug systems
Perform validation and verification testing in a test-driven manner
Review the work of others, and invite others to review your work
Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
What qualifications we're looking for:
Intermediate Software engineer with 3+ years of experience writing clean code that performs well at scale and experience with UI development, Typescript and React frameworks.
Experience with javascript, typescript.
In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server , MySQL)
Solid experience writing RESTful API endpoints
Absolutely love TDD and have working knowledge of it
Proficient in GIT
Experience using system and performance monitoring tools (e.g.Appdynamics, DataDog)
Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g. jest, Cypress)
Excellent organization, critical-thinking and personal leadership skills
Self-starter with the ability to deliver with minimal supervision
Being okay with the uncomfortable feeling that comes from learning new things
Team player
Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
Proven experience as a great Engineer
BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree
What does the growth potential look like?
We focus heavily on employee career progression and provide many internal opportunities for upward advancement. An Int. Software Engineer will typically progress to Senior Software Engineer. There are also opportunities to move into other departments depending on your areas of interest.

Nice to have cloud engineering experience (ie. Azure, AWS)
