Software Engineer I

Sponsorship is NOT available to new hires for this position

• Under close supervision, designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs less complex software programs for enhancements and new products.
  
• Responsible for routine concept design through the full development life cycle.
  
• Prepares and conducts systems programming test requiring interfacing and software tests.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree / equivalent in computer science, engineering, information systems, a related field or equivalent formal training or work experience.
  
• Knowledge of basic principles, theories, concepts and techniques in information technology or engineering involvement.
  
• A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:

• Supports the design, build, test and maintenance of data pipelines. Assists with updating data from multiple data sources.
  
• Comfortable working with distributed teams on code-based deliverables, using version control systems and code reviews.
  
• Ability to conduct data analysis, investigation, and lineage studies to document and enhance data quality and access.
  
• Use of Agile and develops practices for project and software management, including continuous integration and continuous delivery.

Work Location(s)/Domicile:

• Position will be hybrid in Collierville, Tennessee and candidates must live within a reasonable commutable distance. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees must be onsite as directed by leadership but allows team members flexibility to work from home otherwise.
