Job Description
- Hourly Rate: $23-31/hr
- Temp-to-Hire: 17 weeks as a temporary employee with ability to stay on as a permanent employee
- Schedule: 40 hours/wk, 10:30am-6:30pm Mon-Sat--pick which weekday youll have off! - Spanish
- Schedule: 40 hours/week 10AM-6PM - Tagalog or Vietnamese
- Provide excellent customer service defined by professionalism and helpfulness
- Assess and the needs of each patient who calls
- Schedule and manage appointments plus assist with the completion of pre-registration
- Showcase an ability to multitask and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced, high call volume environment
- Bilingual in either Spanish, Tagalog or Vietnamese
- MA or receptionist experience 3-5 years or medical Call Center experience 1 year
- Are able to work the schedule provided in the description
Requirements
- Minimum: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Preferred: Medical Assistant Certification
- The ability to type accuranately and speedily (at least 40 words per minitute--we can provide a quick test assess this!)
- 1 year of healthcare Call Center experience or MA 3-5 yrs
- NOTE: A successful completion of an externship program with San Ysidro Health can satisfy the past experience requirement
