Job Description
Pay: 60k-80k a year DOE
Schedule: M-F Onsite, 8am-5pm

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Preferably, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Buying in Medical Device Field preferred
- Proficient in ERP/MRP manufacturing software.
- Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Execute intricate purchasing tasks with minimal guidance, acquiring materials, equipment, and services in alignment with company's quality, reliability, delivery, and economic goals. Source PCB, sheet metals, and injection mold parts.
- Conduct quotation/bid analysis, negotiate prices, and place orders for crucial items.
- Identify alternative sources of supply when current vendors and preferred suppliers fall short.
- Expedite the delivery of purchased parts and assist in resolving discrepancies in receiving, accounting, and supplier invoices.
- Analyze data to recommend the most cost-effective approach and assess the feasibility of components, assemblies, products, or equipment.
- Conduct initial supplier surveys/interviews and assess supplier capabilities, qualifications, and performance.
- Act as a liaison between suppliers, purchasing, engineering, production, and accounts payable for procurement-related matters.
- Prepare documents and agreements, recommend and negotiate contracts and volume purchase agreements within defined guidelines.
- Review and process MRP actions for materials ordering and scheduling.
- Monitor monthly PPV costs and freight expenses, analyzing data to justify expenditures.
- Manage purchasing data files in MAX and file hard copies of Purchase Orders.
- Step in as a production planner when necessary.
- Develop, implement, and uphold EIN 13485 purchasing policies and procedures.
