About the job Business System Analyst
Job Description:
- Provide Operational and Business teams with extensive Wireless Industry guidance in support of Customer Journeys, Functional Requirements
- Convert Customer Journeys to Functional Requirements
- Document Functional Requirements documents
- Review of High-Level Design (HLD) and Interface Design Definition (IDD) Documents to ensure alignment and accuracy with Functional and Business Requirements
- Assess impact of changes to Customer Journeys and adjust Functional Requirements
- Partner with IT on Backlog Grooming Sessions to ensure alignment of each Sprint team to business priorities
- Represent Business Groups to Development teams during sprint reviews and gain agreement from Business Groups as appropriate
- Sign-off on Story completion by the Development teams during sprints
- Interface with Delivery Teams to ensure System Integration
- Support UAT
- Partner with Altice Training Department to develop work stream specific content
- Work across all project teams to analyze content being produced by the work streams and ensure gaps are minimized
- Facilitate and document required project components to ensure completion and success of project
- Ensure the continuity of the project between each of the work streams by implementing cross-journey alignment practices
- Work with business units to obtain input/guidance where necessary
- Serve as the primary points of contact, provide project knowledge/expertise and leadership to each of the work streams
- Serve as an escalation point
- Ensure teams are communicating together and help resolve any misinterpretation of Functional, Business or Operational requirements
- Responsible for reporting and resolving work stream status, issues, and risks
- Manage design changes related to the working project plans daily to meet the agreed deadlines
- Develops in-depth knowledge of the business unit(s) supported
- Coordinates with internal and external supporting organizations to deliver solutions to business units
Required Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of Wireless industry components/capabilities: BSS, Offer Management, Billing/Rating, Fulfillment, Financial, Ordering, Numbering, Self-serve, Customer, Acquisition, Fraud, Credit, Training, Sales Ops, and others
- Comfortable working with large amounts of billing data and making sense of it.
- Ability to identify and completely resolve highly technical issues
- Knowledge in the understanding of middleware communications
- Extensive knowledge of BSS/OSS systems
- Understands business initiatives, so as to deliver solutions, provide oversight and recommendations regarding the implementation of systems and processes in support of business objectives
- Keeps informed of existing and evolving industry standards and technologies that are, or may be needed in support of the business units; be the IT systems market expert for the business units supported
- Strong requirements management skills ability to gather, write, and track requirements
- Strong understanding of system integration
- Confident self-starter with ability to work independently
