Business Systems Specialist

Job Summary

This position is a critical role within our organization, specializing in the management and implementation of Odoo as our primary ERP system and overseeing our platforms connected to it. This role requires a robust understanding of business concepts and strong technical analytics skills in the software world, with the capability to translate complex business requirements into effective software solutions.

• eCommerce and Warehouse Platforms: Oversee the integration and management of eCommerce and warehouse platforms, aligning them with our ERP system for seamless operations.
• Business Analysis: Analyze complex business requirements, translating them into effective software solutions within Odoo.
• Technical Leadership: Utilize in-depth technical knowledge for the development, integration, and deployment of new business solutions across various systems.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to users, enhancing their understanding of Odoo.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with different departments to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions using integrated systems.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Odoo as a backend ERP and Open API integrations.
• Strong grasp of business concepts with the ability to apply this in a software context.
• Pervious database management experience.
• Strong project management, time management, initiative, interpersonal, and communications skills.
• Advanced technical and analytical skills within the software domain.
• Experience in programming and software development methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth technical, financial, and contractual discussions.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Work successfully both independently and with groups.
• Detailed-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Previous experience with Hyper-V/VMware.
• 3+ years of experience with Python.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL.
• Ability to travel.
