POSITION SUMMARY
The BSP (Business Service Partner) is responsible for a dedicated area to routinely visit Hospitality, Healthcare, and other commercial sites to provide complete service support. BSP Technicians troubleshoot, maintain, software/firmware update and repair LG Commercial products, primarily televisions and signage LED. There may also be some request to repair appliances and Air Conditioners.
This position requires 100% travel within the San Francisco Bay area and is an hourly role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Service Partner - Diagnose and repair B2B Products including Commercial/Hotel TV, Signage, Direct View LED, Robot, and perform a number of other administrative tasks on a daily basis
- Develop relationship with Commercial properties
- Manage and update Point of Contact for the properties in zones
- Routine visit and manage urgent requests
- Manage Property Profile
- Equipment information (SI, STB, Cable Co.)
- Model numbers and qty. at property
- Manage Parts inventory in truck stock
- You will be their direct contact
- Identify, analyze and repair product failures ensuring customer satisfaction
- If notice any unusual or unknown symptoms during the routine visits, contact Engineers in Huntsville with supporting documents and pictures
- Order necessary parts for truck stock for immediate repairs
- Perform daily administrative functions to include warranty claims and report submission
- Responsible to file all repairs and visits for warranty in the system with accurate information
- Maintain performance objectives as required
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, equipment and parts inventory
- Maintain appropriate home location to park company provided vehicle
- Work independently without onsite supervision
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Certification or Associates Degree preferred
- Professionalism written and verbal
- Must be able to work independently and organize schedule based on customers
- Must be effective communicator and able to follow up
- 3-5 yrs experience in Signage LED or television repair. Installation and cable provider knowledge is helpful
- Knowledge and proficient use of electronic tools and diagnostic test equipment
- Proficient in MS office and Smartphone technology with the ability to quickly learn proprietary software applications
- Valid driver's license with clear driving record
- Meet physical requirements generally associated with field service repair (lifting, bending, etc.)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs (May need to work on weekend)
- Well organized with excellent interactive and communication skills. Written and oral
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) accreditation is a plus
- Digital signage experience is a plus
