The Veterans Engineering Team is looking for a seasoned Business Process Analyst. You will be responsible for developing Business Process Reengineering (BPR) solutions, including developing starting strategy and vision so there is a clear understanding of success for the given project(s). The candidate must be able to lead cross-functional teams through the process redesign and deliver an overview of processes, develop timelines, and manage gate reviews for kickoff and intermediate progress updates to leadership.
Initial scope
5.5.1 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TRENDS AND INSIGHTS MONITORING AND REPORTING
The program manager shall coordinate expert analysis, monitoring, and reporting on relevant industry standards and best practices. The program manager shall review and coordinate actions on congressional guidance, executive orders, and federal mandates to ensure client has the knowledge and awareness required to guide the strategic coordination and alignment activities impacting Enterprise IT Strategic Planning. The Contractor shall use proven industry tools and methods to perform expert analysis summarized monthly and shall develop written Information Technology Trends and Insights Monitoring Reports. Report topics will be determined based on monthly analysis or emerging topics of interest to client leadership. The reports shall be in the form of whitepapers and briefings on information technology trends and capabilities highlighting the relevance or risk to client’s mission, capabilities, in-flight initiatives, and service offerings.
5.5.2 LESSONS LEARNED REVIEWS AND REPORTS
The Contractor shall facilitate quarterly lessons learned reviews with OSC with a focus on continuous improvement, documentation, communication, and application of lessons learned. The Contractor shall document recommendations to improve the overall effectiveness of OSC’s strategic planning processes and work products in the Lessons Learned Reports.
Skills you will need:
- Experience working with an insights firm.
- Ability to stay organized with strong attention to details.
- Project plan development experience – Ability to map structure processes to a defined plan, communicate direction, and work together as a team to meet objectives.
- Strong documentation skills to capture the key details of each working session, extract action items and deliverables, maintain tracking of all action items and deliverables, and ensure they are completed on time in a cross-functional team.
- Comfortable with follow-ups, gently but firmly pushing back, and holding team members accountable to ensure deliverables are met.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of applicable experience
- Must be able to pass a Federal Government background check.
- Must be available during normal business hours.
