The Business Process Analyst is responsible for researching, analyzing, documenting, and recommending changes to the organization's Business Processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. Lead process reengineering efforts, defining new process models that align with industry beset practices and organizational goals. This challenging role is a platform for career growth. Job Responsibilities:

- Evaluates employee needs, internal workflows, and Business Processes. Conducts meetings with stakeholders and subject matter experts to collect information/data regarding ineffective or inefficient processes.
- Performs Root Cause Analysis on processes with issues requiring deeper evaluation using standard methodologies (e.g., 5-Why, Fishbone Diagram).
- Collects and studies operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Creates flowcharts, process maps, and diagrams as a method of visualizing ongoing processes to detect internal inefficiencies within the scope of a given workflow. Analyzes Business Processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated.
- Assesses business requirements and makes evidence-based recommendations to support process improvements. Draws inferences from process details and links these inferences to the big picture by considering business objectives in identifying process improvements.
- Monitors detailed business analyses and collaborates with business and IT leaders to create and document new processes.
- Designs and prepares documentation, training materials, and communications supporting new processes.
- Interprets complex data and business metrics for relevant stakeholders.
- Researches and conducts site observations to identify the equipment, methods, and personnel needed for effective processes.
- Examines emerging business best practices and technological developments to automate and streamline processes to help the organization perform more efficiently.
- Reviews and edits others' process documentation for any function in the enterprise.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education/experience in lieu of a degree.
- 4+ years' experience in process analysis and improvement, preferably in the Construction industry.
- Ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses.
- Demonstrated proficiency creating process description tools such as flowcharts, work instructions, and procedures using tools such as Visio and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated aptitude for information flow and interfaces between company functions in a digital environment.
- Understanding of process modeling techniques and methodologies (e.g., BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma).
- Ability to make an organizational assessment, identify and implement improvement opportunities.
- Effective organizational and problem-solving skills utilizing empathy, patience, and persistence in achieving results without authority.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to travel domestically between 10% and 20%.
