  • Proficient in creating comprehensive documentation, including process maps, procedural manuals, and user guides, to effectively communicate Business Processes, requirements, and solutions.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information to audiences.
  • Skilled in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel and PowerBI.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering high-quality results.
  • Effective facilitator of communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze Business Processes, and develop solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ability to foster consensus, take direction, and make compromises as needed.
  • Proficient in Agile project management and iterative development processes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in evaluating complex software applications.
  • Experience using process modeling and documentation tools like Visio and Lucidchart.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing complex software projects in a higher education setting.
  • Experience analyzing legal risk versus resource constraints.
  • Experience analyzing, assessing, and managing .NET software projects.
  • Experience establishing risk management frameworks and governance structures for software projects.
  • Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG, Section 508) and assistive technologies.
  • Agile certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master).
  • Certified in information systems risk management (e.g., Certified Risk and Information Systems Control).
  • Direct experience with contracting and procurement processes in higher education.
  • Familiarity with student support services and administrative processes in higher education.
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
  • Knowledge of higher education legislation (e.g., FERPA, Title IX).
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies beyond Agile (e.g., Waterfall, Lean).
  • Experience with change management strategies and processes.

Job Duties
  • Analyze current administrative workflows and processes within .NET and other applications.
  • Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with customers, product owners, and other stakeholders to develop and implement optimized workflows.
  • Conduct thorough functionality and accessibility testing and evaluate process changes to ensure effectiveness.
  • Provide ongoing application improvement support and training to staff and stakeholders on new processes.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure the impact of process improvements.
  • Continuously seek feedback and iterate on processes to further enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Serve as a catalyst for positive change, driving improvements in the .NET applications that support the university’s student support services.

Additional Information to Applicants
This position is eligible for a partial remote work schedule. There is also some work schedule flexibility within normal business hours (Monday – Friday, between 7am and 6pm). Eligibility is dependent on performance.
