Exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Process Improvement Analyst focused on Assortment Operations to drive initiatives with significant business impact within Merchandising and Space Planning. Target areas include Product Assortment, Space Planning Systems, Inventory Planning and Analytics. Responsibilities:
  • Provides BPI support across Merchandising, Tech, Space Planning, and Analytics for large integrated processes or functions.
  • Works throughout the organization to identify change targets with potentially significant business impact; target areas may include:
    • Product Assortment
    • Assortment Process Refinement
    • Inventory Planning
    • Reporting
  • Works on complex business problems that may include multiple functions and/or diverse technologies.
  • Gathers and documents requirements for initiative design and associated project management.
  • Provides leadership to cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle, including resource estimation, milestone identification, team facilitation, change management, and reporting.
  • Ensures Business Processes are analyzed from multiple aspects, including inputs, outputs, user and customer experience.
  • Leads in the identification and analysis of high impact change targets.
  • Engages with process owners / stakeholders to develop change recommendations, design testing strategies, and evaluate effectiveness of recommended approaches.
  • Supports Process Improvement implementation through education, training, or facilitation as required.
  • Follows up to identify successes, areas for improvement, and lessons learned.

Skills:
  • Strong understanding and proven ability to apply standard and some advanced BPI methodologies and tools.
  • Advanced ability to identify and pursue Process Improvement opportunities based on risk controls, customer experience, efficiencies, and other business-focused factors.
  • Assesses how systems and processes impact the effectiveness and efficiency of internal operations.
  • Communicates structured information in a clear, concise, and organized fashion.
  • Collaborates with others to achieve objectives and ensure information flow.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions in both one-on-one situations and group meetings.
  • Participates in cross-functional projects and provides senior-level support to team.
  • Impacts overall team effectiveness.
  • May provide informal support to less experienced Team Members.
  • Builds and nurtures relationships with senior-level stakeholders and leaders.
  • Applies analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex situations.
  • Presents problem analysis and recommended solutions in a creative and logical manner.
  • Handles a diverse range of issues requiring evaluation of a variety of factors, including business trends.
  • Analyzes complex and ambiguous problems.
  • Identifies opportunities for process and procedural enhancements to drive efficiency and improve service levels.
  • Understands the trends and emerging challenges facing the customer base, market, and industry.
  • Applies business and project understanding to focus project/team efforts.
  • Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the WFM product mix, supply base, and retail operations.

Education & Experience:
  • BA/BS degree and 4-6 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Additional Information:
  • This role will observe the 3-day hybrid office model.
  • Based in Store Support Office Austin, TX.
