Under the guidance and direction of the Director of Entrepreneurship, this role will develop and administer programs specifically geared towards financial education for small businesses in Seattle. The Business Finance Coach will develop educational materials and resources opportunities for small businesses as well as develop outreach strategies, provide technical assistance, and basic financial mentorship.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
1 Year Experience in Finance, Non-Profit, or related field
Must have basic understanding in Business Finance, or other business-related fields
High School Diploma or Equivalent required; BA in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
Have a strong interest in microenterprise or economic development
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to supervise self and work in a team environment when needed
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be comfortable with technology and have the ability to adapt the use of new software and databases
Ability to relate to small business owners, regardless of industry
Ability to work independently and adhere to strict deadlines
Must be self-motivated; comfortable working independently
Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge
Must have access to reliable transportation to arrive at worksites at a scheduled time consistently
