About the Role [100% Remote]

Clever Real Estate is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our team as a Business Development Support Specialist. Joining our dynamic Clever Pro team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and supporting our development efforts.

We're looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented team player who is passionate about supporting our team and customers. We need a confident go-getter who's eager to gain experience in growth hacking and committed to continual learning and development.

As a Business Development Support Specialist, you will be accountable for:

  • Conducting comprehensive research on competitors, market trends, and potential partnership opportunities.
  • Qualifying leads through various channels, including introductory calls, research, and engaging in outreach to connect with key decision-makers.
  • Supporting marketing initiatives, including email campaigns and vendor outreach.
  • Managing calendars, travel arrangements, and administrative tasks for the Clever Pro Development team.
  • Supporting compliance procedures and addressing inquiries from lenders and clients.

In your first 90 days, you will…

  • Familiarize yourself with Clever's business model, tools, and processes.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Begin actively contributing to Business Development by engaging in calls with loan officers and other partners to support deals through the sales cycle.

In your first 365 days, you will…

  • Take ownership of key projects and initiatives within the Business Development team.
  • Assist in CRM management, ensuring accurate data entry, organization, and optimization.
  • Assist in contract negotiations, ensuring a thorough grasp of our contracts.
  • Manage conference support logistics, such as managing schedules, booking meetings, follow-ups, and sponsorship coordination.

This candidate has...

  • 1-3 years of post-bachelor's degree work experience.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Growth mindset with a passion for learning and improvement.
  • Willingness to travel when necessary for conferences.

The ideal candidate also has…

  • Experience in the real estate or mortgage industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $55-65k base salary & up to 10% annual bonus
  • Health, dental, vision (we cover 75% of base plan), and life insurance
