A Little Bit About the Position

Join Gemini Legal's People Operations team as our Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist, where you'll orchestrate the delivery of training with precision and creativity. In this role you will oversee the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring a seamless E-learning experience, providing technical support to users, and conducting reporting. You will play an integral role in the Whatfix Program by continually aligning E-learnings and new hire onboarding tracks with Gemini's software, products, and processes. While working with subject matter experts and the L&D Manager, you will develop engaging and interactive E-learning content for various Learning & Development programs related to new hire onboarding, process understanding, company culture, skill development and leadership development. • Location: Hybrid-remote based out of our office in Rocklin, CA
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
• Compensation: $26.44-$35.58/hr

Requirements:

• AA/AS in a relevant field of study such as education, instructional design, or human resources preferred
• Minimum 2-5 years of progressive experience working in training/Learning & Development required
• Working knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and training methodologies
• Exceptional creative ability to craft interactive content that stimulates learners, uses multiple methods of teaching and encouraging retention and full absorption of technical content, and targets an audience of employees with varying levels of technical understanding
• Strong project management skills to keep projects on track, manage resources effectively, and meet deadlines
• Advanced time management and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentations and public speaking
• Ability to handle a high volume of work and function in a fast-paced environment, on deadline
• Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to both intricate details and results
• Extremely proficient using a computer, business phone, office software, video conferencing, and other computer programs including Google Workplace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail, etc.)
• Experience using many types of software in an administrative/configurative capacity
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn technical jargon, processes and workflows quickly and easily
• Experience with LMS, graphic design tools (e.g. Canva), and e-learning creation software (e.g. Articulate Rise360) required
• Experience with HRIS and Whatfix preferred but not required
• Ability to leverage technology to deliver training efficiently and track learner progress effectively
• Experience working in an office setting
• Flexibility to work in-office and remotely as needed
• Exceptional teamwork
• Must pass pre-employment screening

Functional Requirements Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation, including, but not limited to:

• Lifting, bending, standing, climbing or walking while carrying out assigned duties
• Lift, push, pull (up to 20 lbs.)
• Sitting for at least one hour at a time (total: 4-6 hours/day)
• Keyboarding for extended periods of time (total: 4-6 hours/day)
