job summary:
The Enterprise Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying top-tier new business opportunities, qualifying leads, building relationships with prospective clients, adapting to market trends, and funneling qualified prospects into the sales pipeline. This is accomplished by locating and initiating open-ended dialogues with decision-makers attached to target prospect accounts in order to better understand their goals, challenges, concerns, and constraints and then working with others in the organization to close the deal
This position reports to the leader of the Enterprise Business Development Leader.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
  • Identify and develop new enterprise account opportunities in target markets via warm leads that have reached out to us, cold calls or email contact
  • Hit aggressive outbound dialing goals daily.
  • Create relationships with customers or potential customers to identify their needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales
  • Educate potential customers on our offerings, rapid response times for new opportunities, and active troubleshooting to increase sales and convert leads into opportunities.
  • Move solid leads to the sales pipeline connecting them to sales leaders and coordinate meetings.
  • Following up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not purchase any goods or services.
  • Expand customer base by upselling and cross-selling LDR's product offerings
  • Ensure customers receive maximum value from our services.
  • Provide end-to-end customer experiences to differentiate LDR in the market.
  • Schedule sales and product presentations between prospective client and Business Development Executives
  • Collaborate with sales executives to ensure the company's goals and targets are met.
  • Remain current on targeted market industry developments and understand customers' strategy, organization, and decision-making process and growth plans.
  • Utilize the appropriate metrics and outcome data to manage activity for long-term success
  • Prepare and submit sales related reports, RFPs, and customer documentation
  • Deliver on business goals financial results
  • Periodically attend trade shows or other industry related events

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience, skills, and qualifications:
  • High School Degree; 2 or 4 year college degree a plus
  • 5 years of relevant sales experience (success selling while working remotely a plus)
  • Experience in the waste, construction, facilities management or portable sanitation industry is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM to organize and maximize prospecting efforts into target accounts
  • Experience and willingness to make a large volume of outbound calls daily
  • Strong negotiation skills (i.e., pricing) and Problem Solving (solutions/ execution)
  • Able to analyze performance metrics and make sound business decisions from that analysis.
