Gotcha Security began as a commercial surveillance company specializing in CCTV design and installation. We expanded our services to include intrusion, fire alarm, access control and gate entry. Weve helped a variety of businesses big and small across Georgia. Most of our clients are multi-family communities, homeowners’ associations, hotels, warehouses, and commercial buildings.
We are seeking a motivated, self-starting individual to join our company as a Sales/Business Development Representative. The primary function of this role is to bring new clients in, increase sales, and develop new relationships.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Business Development representative will be responsible for:
Uncovering new business opportunities through emailing and calling self-generated/company provided target account lists.
Calling on new prospects including cold calling, on-site visits, sales presentations, industry related trade shows, and business-related events.
Developing relationships via networking.
Demonstrating knowledge about our products and offerings.
NOTE: Our estimating team will accompany you on all site surveys, provide technical support, and create proposals, so you can focus on building relationships.
Requirements
WHAT DO WE REQUIRE?
- 5+ years of proven sales experience in a direct selling role.
5+ years selling security/fire protection to business clients.
1-3 years of construction industry experience.
History of developing relationships with GCs/ECs.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships.
Experience negotiating contracts, working through conflicts, and facilitating challenging conversations.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
Meet/Exceed the sales forecast and monthly projections.
Serve customers by listening and leading them through the sales process.
The ability to imagine and see a project from start to finish.
Create contract documents to clearly define the customer’s expectations.
