Our system touches every aspect of the salon experience, from our in-salon software desktop application to Phorest Go (our native staff application), online booking websites for salons, and custom native apps for individual salons. In an average month, Phorest processes 3 million appointments, sends over 3 million SMS messages, and 4 million emails. We also facilitate 200,000 online bookings per month and have developed more than 150 custom white-label native apps.
The Opportunity:As a Business Development Representative for the Premium market in North America, Phorest is looking for a highly motivated and driven sales professional to help grow our already market leading presence and grow our Outbound Sales process. You will be joining an experienced and highly motivated sales team, where you will have the opportunity to impact the way we do business.

What You Will Do:Work with a number of Partners and build relationships with their representatives in order to generate referrals for Phorest. Partners in NA include: brands/ distributors/ business coaches/ education companies/ service providers for salons / influencers etc. and we will assign pre-formed partners for you to work with.
Proactively communicate with reps to determine how best to approach prospect salons e.g. introductions, ride-alongs, etc.
Ensure referral partners are set up with correct lead forms and ensure leads are captured through correct process and tracked
Nurture relationships with Referral Partners to generate opportunities
All Referral Partners to have quarterly meetings with Premium BDR
Identify Partnership opportunities and events to drive lead and opportunity generation
Manage and reconcile all payments to referral partners on a monthly basis
Proactively engage with North American Sales and Marketing Teams to execute Partnership events ( obtaining lists/ inviting salons/ Following up with partner contacts)
Targeted on opportunities created
Minimum contact with referral partners once per quarter (all tracked in Salesforce and Outreach)
Support North American Brand Partnership efforts by networking with reps and attending events
Support North American Brand Partnerships by driving engagement and adoption with salons. This would include salon visits/ ride-alongs with brand sales reps/ recommending Phorest salons for pilot exercises/ Working with salons to ensure they understood the benefits of the partnership
Attend Non Partnership events as requested
Seek out Event opportunities for 2023/24 and beyond
Generate pipeline with qualified salons who have the potential to be amazing, forever customers
Manage and execute ABM program to strategic list of mulit-location salons as well as strategic single location salons
Represent Phorest on the front lines (every first conversation) including our values, culture, and identity
Partner with our Sales reps throughout the full cycle sales process
Run discovery calls when appropriate
Learn to Demo the software and closing process. Will need to run demos and close deals in certain situations
Have at least 3 years experience working in sales in a busy SAAS environment
Possess 3+ years of experience in the Hair and Beauty industry (an advantage)
Knowledge of Salesforce is a distinct advantage.
Enjoy building relationships
Have strong objection handling skills
Are proactive in keeping in touch with competitor pricing and strategies
Possess a growth mindset
Excel at multitasking and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ideally on MST, PST or CST to support partnerships in these timezones
Must be willing to travel to conferences and events
Must be willing to spend periods of time on the road working in-person with partners and their teams
