Business Development Representative
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to represent Trustgrid and engage prospective customers in leading technology organizations around the world. You will be responsible for helping customers solve state-of-the-art cloud, network and security challenges. This role is a unique opportunity to work hand-in-hand with senior marketing, sales, and product executives in a fast growing, lean startup.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect, identify, qualify and set appointments for new sales opportunities
- Build contact lists for Trustgrid’s target customers
- Explain the value proposition for Trustgrid’s products
- Maintain a high-level of proactive communication with prospective customers
- Track communications and other activity (quotes, proposals, etc) in our CRM tool
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in a similar position
- Grit and determination to execute a long-term strategy to grow Trustgrid’s sales funnel
- Moderate technical skills including exposure to concepts such as networking, cloud and operating systems
- Ability to travel, rarely, for customer visits and trade shows
Qualifications and Experience:
- 1+ years of software sales experience
- Experience selling Technology products to Information Technology teams in the Fortune 500, Enterprise, Mid-Market space
- Experience using Hubspot or other CRM to track activities
- Ideal candidates will be able to commute to Austin, Texas as needed.
Compensation and Position:
- Full time position
- Base compensation of $65,000 per year with bonus potential to $85,000
