Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. This position is remote but requires you to reside in the DFW area. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through outbound calling and Business Development activities.
Your primary goal will be to identify potential clients, understand their needs, and promote our products and services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales and enjoys building relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls and onsite visits to prospective clients to generate new business leads
- Identify and qualify potential clients by understanding their needs and requirements
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies for lead generation and conversion
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through proactive prospecting and networking
- Utilize various sales techniques, including telemarketing, email campaigns, social media, networking groups, community business organizations, etc. to engage with potential clients
- Meet or exceed monthly prospect appointment setting targets
- Maintain existing customer relationships
- Communicate product features, benefits, and pricing to potential clients
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in Salesforce or other CRM software
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and objectives
- Willing to travel
- Weekly 1:1 meetings with supervisor
- Other job duties as assigned
Skills
- Proven experience in outbound calling or telemarketing
- Strong Business Development skills with a focus on generating new leads
- Knowledge of market trends and industry best practices in sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate technical sales information to non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software is preferred
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
