Position Summary
The Business Development Managers initial responsibility will be sourcing Pullet, Breeder and Broiler farms to ensure the company has the square footage of all necessary to fulfill our customer's needs. Other responsibilities are listed below and depend on the business environment as to the amount of time spend on each. This role will have varietal dotted line reporting based upon present project makeup.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify areas for internal and acquisition growth.
- Develop a list of all growers ranking them according to the benefit they bring to the company.
- Analyze the efficacy of current company strategies and make recommendations on any changes.
- Implement new strategies to meet company goals.
- Manage multiple projects and drive fast-paced execution
- Responsible for managing the overall planning, execution and success of securing grower contracts
- Monitoring project health through the effective use of project dashboards
- Monitor live production industry trends and communicating to all appropriate internal stakeholders
- Establish and foster deep farmer partner relationships, ensuring continual communication and commitment from a farmer base available at all times to service live operations.
- Maintain cross functional internal team relationships through consistent communication throughout all departments
- Coordinate, supervise, and attend industry conferences and events
