The City of Woodstock is a charming historic community of 25,630, located 55 miles northwest of Chicago on Metra rail. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Woodstock is a community unlike any other boasting historic 19th century buildings, dining, entertainment, accommodations, specialty shops, professional services, art galleries, and live theater. The City employs approximately 345 (full-time, part-time, and seasonal) employees in a variety of departments within the organization, such as Office of the City Manager, Building & Zoning, Economic Development, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing & Communications, Opera House, Police, Public Library, Public Works, and Recreation. Our employees work to serve the residents with responsive customer service and strive to make the City of Woodstock the best community it can be.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, finance, accounting, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Three to five years of development/sales/fundraising experience.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated track record of building and maintaining strong business relationships.
- Skill in Adobe Suite for graphic design and content creation.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities for essential functions may be considered by the City.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Proven sales background with track record of setting and achieving stretch financial goals.
- Familiarity with industry-standard Customer Relationship Management software.
- Marketing portfolio demonstrating professional-level body of work produced for clients.
SALARY & BENEFITS
Starting annual salary for this full-time, exempt/salaried role is $73,561.18. Additionally, an excellent benefits package is provided including, but not limited to, paid time off (sick, vacation, and floating holiday time), group health insurance, a deferred compensation plan, and IMRF pension.
