- Development of Long-View Strategic Roadmaps for assigned Product Lines and Market Segment expansion and growth. Includes Mapping of current Aero & Defense Applications and projected future needs of the market.
- Drive development of funnel opportunities, support proposal activities and create business cases for target customers in the assigned market or product line. Actively monitor funnel management activities.
- Support the Annual Strategic Plan activities, analysis, revenue projections and report-outs for Aero & Defense within assigned Market Segment or Product Line.
- Support the on-going Policy Deployment or execution of Strategic Plan for assigned Market Segment or Product Line.
- Support targeted opportunities within the assigned Market Segment or Product Line for timely execution of New Product Development (NPD) post award. Continuously reinvigorate the New Product pipeline to keep assigned Product line or Market Segment vital and growing.
- Collaboratively support Strategic Marketing to gather the market needs, competitive information, and innovation opportunities to develop market-based product needs. Provide guidance with regards to competitive pricing.
- Develop and present business cases to the organization for custom-product program investments.
- Identify opportunities and support Strategic Marketing with market trends through participation at tradeshows, industry seminars, and Voice of Customer campaigns.
- Create Competitive Analyses, Market Sizing, and SWOT analysis for assigned Market Segment through the Product Life Cycle.
- Develop the Value Proposition for assigned Market Segment or Product Line. Create Sales Enablement Tools in order to create growth.
- Manage and report on financial targets including the generation of and tracking of performance to a long-term revenue growth plan. Use Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS) growth tools to accelerate growth.
- Manage and work within an operating budget (Travel).
- Along with those identified above, other duties may be assigned.
- Willingness to travel extensively (30%) within the designated markets and production facilities
- Ability to effectively work remotely from supervisor

- Must be proficient in working with the Internet, Microsoft Office, SalesForce.com, LinkedIn.
- 4-year undergraduate Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree, or equivalent
- Must be a US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- Professional business education
- At least 2 years of product strategy, strategic planning, Business Development, or sales is required; 4+ years preferred
- Demonstrated ability to influence customer behavior
- Prior experience with precision electromechanical products is strongly preferred
