Business Development Intern

Vistar Media has created a 9-week program where students will gain hands-on working experience and knowledge about the advertising technology landscape, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with different departments within Vistar's organization. We're looking for college students who are passionate and eager about the innovative media industry.

The Channel Partnerships team is lovingly referred to as "the start-up within a start-up!" You will be working with a small team with a unified goal of landing new partners and driving revenue for the most innovative tech company in the space. While a small team, we have a diversity of personalities and interests. Day to day, this intern will get to work with both Business Development and account management teams. If you are interested in learning about sales and account management in the media space, this is a great role for you!

Our summer interns will work 3 days per week for the duration of the internship program and will be expected to be in the office. Applications are due by April 5th.

What you'll do:

• Assist with Account Management activities such as optimize campaigns, track follow ups, and connect with clients on creative approvals.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industries, and market trends.
• Collaborate and strategize with team on the creation of email campaigns
• Assist in pre-call preparation, including research on prospective clients and industry trends
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and contacts in CRM system

Who you are:

• Rising junior or senior working towards a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or PR.
• Working knowledge of G-Suite and/or Microsoft Office  (Google Sheets/excel slides PPT etc.)
• Organized, eager, and team-oriented
• Passionate about taking initative and identifying new opportunities
• Able to work in the US for an indefinite period without sponsorship
• Able to come to the NYC office three days a week (relocation not offered)
