Business Development Associate-Equity Services, Inc.
Summary
We are currently looking for a Business Development Associate for our home office in Montpelier, VT or our Addison, TX campus. Become an integral part our growing recruiting and sales support team as Equity Services, Inc. continues to source, recruit, and develop our registered rep and investment advisor representative sales force. This Business Development Associate position is a fast-paced role for those familiar with the financial services industry and are self-starting, self-motivating, and come to work with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with ESl's recruiting and relationship management teams in recruiting, on-boarding, training, and developing our rep base
- Conduct proactive out-reaches to recruits and existing reps via the telephone - both unprompted and for targeted campaigns - to continue to build on the ESI relationship by providing continued support and service
- Field in-bound calls to provide high level sales, marketing, and service support
Effectively manage administrative details for recruiters; literature fulfillment, mail campaigns, lead management, and other general recruiting support - Utilize sales skills; refine sales techniques:
- Help generate leads and new opportunities for recruiters from industry news/research, cold calling, prospecting, direct mail efforts, and referrals
- Assist in on boarding, transition, rep retention, and other marketing initiatives
- Follow-up on rep requests, recruiter and relationship manager visits, and marketing campaigns
Contact existing reps and investment advisors on a re-occurring basis
Requirements
- Series 6 or Series 7 required, Series 65 preferred
- 3-5 years of financial service experience
- Experience in a fast paced, outbound call center
- BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Successful track record of sales performance or sales recruitment preferred
- Professional individual with strong interpersonal, relationship management, organizational and computer skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
- A team playing and a strong individual contributor
- Ability to pass a background check including fingerprinting
- Must be able to travel 4-8times a year
Compensation:
This role offers base salary plus supplemental sales quarterly bonus pay
The base compensation range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.Other rewards may include an annual bonus, quarterly bonuses, commissions, and other long-term incentive compensation, depending on the position.
