Business Development Advisor, a member of the Sales Team.

The Business Development Advisor contributes to our success by promoting our consulting services to C-Suite level decision makers in our target market and securing business opportunities. The position is a member of a sales team and reports to the Director of Business Development.

Core Functions
· Work as a team to generate repeat and referral business in the team's territory.
· Actively prospect for leads, build relationships, and secure appointments with decision-makers.
· Propose and sell consulting and services to new and existing clients.
· Support colleagues in sales processes to develop proposals and respond to client queries, etc.
· Engage across the organization to source and develop client relationships.
· Success includes achieving assigned revenue and profit goals and building Executive relationships for long-term territory growth.
· Forecast, manage, and track opportunities in the CRM database.
· Work collaboratively with peers to improve product offerings and internal processes.
· Support our client survey process.
Required Skills / Competencies / Experiences
· 5+ years' experience in consultative/solutions sales and Business Development.
· Experience with manufacturing principles and processes or experience within manufacturing.
· Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
· Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing sales strategies and meeting a quota.
· Ability to engage "C-Suite" level executives to assess the business environment and recommend solutions.
· Superior project and client management skills combined with a customer service focus.
· Outstanding communication skills.
· Self-directed, results-driven, and goal-oriented personality type.
· Basic business software skills concerning Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
· Salesforce experience preferred.
