Job Title: Director of Business Development

We are dedicated to improving the lives of those we serve and are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team.


Position Overview:

As the Director of Business Development, you will play a vital role in overseeing admissions and driving business growth for our network of 20 skilled nursing facilities in Connecticut and Rhode Island. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase facility census, build strong relationships with referral sources, and lead a team of professionals to achieve our Business Development objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

Admissions Oversight:

Lead and manage the admissions process for all facilities, ensuring smooth transitions for incoming residents.

Collaborate with facility administrators and clinical teams to maintain high standards of care and service.

Develop and implement effective admission policies and procedures to streamline processes.


Business Development Strategy:

Develop and execute strategic plans to grow facility census and market share.

Identify and cultivate relationships with key referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, and community organizations.

Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.


Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor a team of admissions and Business Development professionals.

Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance team performance and productivity.

Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.


Data Analysis and Reporting:

Monitor and analyze admissions data and performance metrics regularly.

Prepare and present reports on census growth, referral source trends, and Business Development initiatives to senior leadership.


Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines governing admissions and Business Development.

Maintain the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Proven experience in admissions and Business Development within skilled nursing facilities.

Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding census growth targets.

Strong managerial and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Knowledge of healthcare regulations and reimbursement systems.

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

Results-oriented and self-motivated with a commitment to excellence.
