IGS is currently recruiting for a remote Business Analystto support NIH.
Assignment of Work and Travel:
This is a remote access assignment. Candidates will work remotely daily and will remotely access NIH systems and therein use approved NIH provided communications systems. Travel is not required; however, the candidate may be required to attend onsite client meetings as requested.
Responsibilities and Duties (Included but not limited to):
- Assist in applying common best practices for the industry to the customer using a knowledge base to create conceptual business models and to identify relevant issues and considerations in selecting application software packages.
- Assess the operational and functional baseline of an organization and its organizational components and help to define the direction and strategy for an engagement while ensuring the organizational needs are being addressed.
- Typical areas addressed include Human Resources, Finance, Supply, and operations.
- Identify information technology inadequacies and/or deficiencies that affect the functional area’s ability to support/meet organizational goals.
- Generate functional area strategies for enhanced IT operations in a cross-functional area mode throughout the organization.
- Participate in account strategy sessions, strategic assessments, and design reviews to validate enterprise approach and associated work products, such as ERP implementations coordinating the resolution of highly complex problems and tasks.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a business or technical discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience with any of the following application development services specializing in creating, designing, deploying, and supporting commercial software, custom applications, and tools especially in the areas of:
- Programming Languages: C++, C#, CSS, Go, HTML, Java, JavaScript, Jython, PHP, Python, Power Fx, Cold Fusion
- Frameworks: Angular JS, Django, Microsoft.NET, React, Spring
- Databases: Dataverse, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server
- IT Support: business analysis
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft 365: SharePoint and Teams; Power Platform (Microsoft Power Apps/Power Automate/Power Pages/Dynamics/Power BI)
- Experience with 508 compliances.
- Ability to support customers during EST hours.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain NIH Public Trust.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship due to clearance requirement.
Preferred Qualifications and Core Competencies:
- Related certifications
- Knowledge of HHS Operating divisions
- Active HHS or NIH Public Trust
- Prior, successful experience working in a remote environment.

Compensation: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
