Webstaurantstore Inc., is looking for a Business Analyst?to join our growing company. This role focuses on technical communications with our customers and vendors and is a key part of growing our business and serving the needs of foodservice professionals worldwide.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Work closely with development teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements between business and development teams.
- Utilize SQL to query and analyze data from the backend systems.
- Work with mobile, C# WPF, and web components to understand technical aspects of the projects.
Successful Candidates will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with mobile, C# WPF, and web technologies.
- Experience with Azure DevOps/Team Foundation Server.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Remote work qualifications
- Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.
- Access to a home router and modem.
- A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
- A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.
- The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.
