Direct Hire | $50K-$65K+ Depending on Experience | Competitive Benefits Package
Seeking candidates with COMMERCIAL maintenance experience to maintain and operate large scale HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, boiler systems, control systems, and their support equipment, respond to tenant service requests, diagnose and repair building mechanical and electrical systems.
Experience/Essential Duties:
- Thoroughly experienced in Central plant operations, including chillers, boilers, a/c split systems, all cooling, heating and venting equipment, pumps, hot water heaters, building automation systems; fire alarm systems; sprinkler systems; plumbing systems and components. Must be able to perform repairs to the buildings plumbing systems, lighting systems, replace electrical motors, and troubleshoot electrical problems within the facility.
- Operate and maintain building equipment and systems.
- Knowledge of various HVAC Systems. Chillers, Split Systems, Roof Top units, Air Handlers, Water Source Heat Pumps, Cooling Towers
- Knowledge of Building Automation Systems and able to work with and operate the system.
- Must have Electrical knowledge and understand voltages such as 120 V, 277 V, 480 V. Able to reset an electrical breaker that has tripped.
- Perform Monthly inspection on Building Systems including monthly fire pump test, generator test / check fuel level.
- Be on call for after-hours emergency issues.
- Must have knowledge of Construction and be able to understand blueprints and ensure work is being performed per plans and code.
- Must have administrative duties and be able to use a computer to respond to emails and work orders.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
- Respond to tenant service requests.
- Painting as needed/directed.
- Special projects as needed/directed.
- Knowledge and ability to use Work Order System platforms and create work orders.
- Be courteous and professional in performing job functions/representing the company.
- Be willing/able to perform duties without direct supervision.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma preferred but actual working experience will suffice.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and water treatment systems
- Ability to read and interpret architectural documents and operating and maintenance instructions.
- Ability to use computers, specifically, but not limited to, EMS systems.
- Excellent communication skills
- Desire to further their technical knowledge and willingness to accept training when offered.
- Individuals must also be able to make cognitive decisions necessary to perform the job functions
- Ability to perform duties without direct supervision
