Brand Marketing Manager
The Brand Marketing Manager, reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, will work closely with other members of the Home Office and Operations team. Primary responsibilities include social media, digital marketing, online brand reputation, print materials, local restaurant marketing, and implementation at the restaurant-level. The Brand Marketing Manager is passionate about digital marketing and responsible for acting as a brand guardian to ensure brand consistency and communication to the restaurants is accomplished and is committed to making sure that the restaurants are supported. - Restaurant Support: Collaborates with the General Managers and Multi Unit Managers on marketing initiatives and projects. E.g., assists in the development of systems and programs for local restaurant marketing so that the most effective support is provided to the restaurant while evaluating ROI on programs, sponsorships, donations, etc. Reports relevant media and PR opportunities and events in the local area to the local operator.
- Social Media: Manages Gastamo social media presences, content calendar, photoshoots, and community management while continually analyzing results for areas of improvement and growth. Platforms include (but not limited to): Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Digital Marketing: Manages digital and online efforts including social media, email, website, SEO, online listings, online reputation, and third-party delivery services. Creates and sends email content via Mailchimp to inform audiences about announcements, restaurant openings, special promotions, new menu items, events, and more.
- Local Restaurant Marketing: Assists in the development of local marketing programs that will be rolled out to the field. This includes developing program ideas, developing rollout materials and communication to the field. Managing existing programs including fundraiser and donation program.
- Print Program: Coordinates relationship with vendors for marketing collateral, swag, and uniforms. Assists in managing restaurant graphics/signage for replacements and/or New Restaurant Openings.
- Gift Cards: Manages vendor relationship for gift card needs. Oversees the overall gift card program, both online and in-restaurant.
- Brand Reputation & Guest Relations: Supports online reputation and guest feedback including website contact us form, online reputation, and social media sentiment.
- PR, Media & Influencer Strategy: Assists with public relations projects, such as media relations, influencer relations, editing of press releases, compiling media kits, coordinating public relations events, responding to daily media inquiries, and setting up interviews with appropriate leadership team members.
- New Restaurant Openings: Collaborates in the development and implementation of a New Restaurant Opening process as it relates to marketing including social media, PR, influencer outreach, signage, and design.
- Menu: Plays a vital role in menu launches with design support, coordination with the printer and internal stakeholders, provides research on competitors and oversees the menu accuracy for online ordering.
- Reporting: Audits competitor and industry marketing trends; manages KPI reporting for marketing department, provides weekly and monthly reports and insights for social media, gift cards, influencer relations, and fundraising.
- Graphic Support: Assists in light graphic design projects as needed i.e., in-store signage, email templates, menus, direct mailers, digital graphics for website and social, etc. Develops design briefs for external graphic designer and is familiar with the creative review process.
- Content Management: Works closely with photographers and videographers to ensure Gastamo’s library is comprehensive and up to date for social, marketing, website, design, etc. Schedule monthly photoshoots on-site and off-site and coordinate with talent as needed. Provide support at local photoshoots and video shoots. Takes photos as-needed.
- General Duties: Assists with overall marketing department goal planning, strategy and strategic initiatives and calendar planning.

- Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or relevant field. Equivalent work experience applies.
- 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience.
- Advanced experience with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of graphic design and design programs (Adobe Creative Suite).
- Email marketing experience.
- Website and online content experience a plus (WebFlow, Squarespace, Bento Box, WordPress, Google AdWords, etc.).
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office products: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Past restaurant industry experience is a plus.
- Past experience in photography/videography is a bonus.
