Registered Dental Hygienist

Well established and Dentist owned General Dentist Office in West Ashley is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our practice. We are looking for an energetic, friendly, customer-service oriented team member. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently, detail oriented and a team player. Our office uses state of the art technology, including digital x-rays and the iTero scanner to serve our patients.

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Must be able to be in control of your schedule, staying on time and updating patients’ charts
• Scheduling patients’ next appointments
• Able to see 8 recall patients per day
• Ability to see new patients and take appropriate radiographs
• Perform Scaling and Root Planing procedures
• Take impressions for bleaching trays
• Use of intraoral camera and iTero for patient education
• Operate and participate in Infection Control procedures for office

Job Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of Eaglesoft a plus
• Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and guidelines
• Nitrous Oxide sedation
• Local anesthesia certification recommended

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift (8:00am-5:00pm)
• Day shift
• Monday to Thursday, with occasional Fridays

Education:

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene
• Current South Carolina RDH license in good standing

Experience:

• Dental Office: 1 year (Preferred)

• Salary will be commensurate with experience.
