Brand Marketing Manager

We're looking for a Social Producer to join our Content Studio team. This role is responsible for managing our communities and audiences as well as finding, surfacing and amplifying VR/AR social trends. This person should be passionate about all things virtual and augmented reality and have a genuine interest in the latest technology in this space.

The ideal candidate is highly creative, an experienced storyteller, prioritizes attention to detail, thrives in a multi-tasking, deadline-driven environment, and must have experience working with a global team across various platforms for an international audience.

Responsibilities:

Actively manage and build our community across platforms for our social channels. Oversee vendor’s community management efforts, including their work replying to comments on owned content and engaging on outside content from our social handles. Use our social insights and listening tools to identify great opportunities for engagement. Understand the interests and behaviors of our community and how to best connect with them and keep them engaged. Partner with communications team to flag and escalate sensitive community comments and provide recommended actions Identify, surface, and amplify trends across VR/AR. Create engaging content for our social channels based on signals from the audience. Work with producers and editors to develop social voice and tone. Understand our consumers and their connection with the product to drive meaningful engagement.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in social, editorial and/or communications field.
• Experience working with and creating content for consumer-facing global brands.
• Ability to think, plan, and execute resourcefully.
• Ability to suggest new ideas and take initiative.
• Experience prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, adapting with changing priorities, and balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Experience handling replies for a brand (whether for customer service or for general engagement).
• Experience spotting opportunities as they arise in response to cultural, media, or market trends Passion for VR/AR.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in a self-starter, fast-paced, and changing environment. Demonstrated creativity, with effective communication skills to bring ideas to a broad audience.
• Experience with quick-turn/rapid response communications.
• Experience collaborating within dynamic and matrixed organizations.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
