POSITION OVERVIEW

The Client Services – Private Label department is responsible for strategizing the growth of the current active portfolio as well as prospective clientele. The Client Services Manager will work closely with the VP of Business Development to identify prospective new partners for Private Label and in-house brands. This position will help to develop and implement design and manufacturing strategies for successful seasonal markets. An ideal candidate for the role of Client Services Manager will be proactive and innovative, with an ability to balance and align detailed account management and topline corporate initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to conduct themselves with a high level of professionalism. The candidate should have a strong understanding of the Fashion Jewelry market, will easily identify market trends and shifts in the design landscape. They will be able to creatively problem solve client demands for price, quality, and design aesthetic. The position is based in New York City and the candidate will work closely with our New York Showroom and overseas Manufacturing partners.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Product Development / Manufacturing

  • Work collaboratively with our factory partners to ensure we are executing our best quality, pricing, and delivery for our customers.
  • Price negotiations and pricing of market collections, have ownership of maintaining target margins set by leadership.
  • Responsible for maintaining Time & Action Design/Development calendars and ensuring teammates and manufacturing partners stay on track.

2. Client Servicing

  • Responsible for client servicing; inclusive of client meetings, bottleneck resolution, product engineering of new developments for quality construction and pricing.
  • Support buyer's needs for individual accounts. Analyze selling reports for quick reaction to strong/poor styles, negotiate pricing and give back initiatives.
  • Engage periodic touch base meetings or market appointments with clients for feedback on business and discuss how to grow the partnership and programs.
  • Create market appointment agendas and follow-up recaps for next steps.

3. Strategic Initiatives

  • Support the Leadership team in implementing team goals & strategies.
  • Responsible for conducting continuous market research on the industry and ENO’s core portfolio to create a holistic strategy to build the business.

4. Market Analysis

  • Able to identify market trends and make recommendations to leadership and design on Ideas to pursue for Private Label and open line collections.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES

  • Able to understand client’s business goals, aesthetic, and target customer to create tailor development services.
  • Technical understanding of manufacturing techniques, raw materials and able to adjust or substitute to meet the clients’ aesthetic, costing, quality standards, and needs.
  • Able to creatively problem solve challenges that arise during design, prototyping, bulk manufacturing process and effectively communicate solutions with clients, and ENO team members to rectify issues.
  • Able to secure additional bulk order volume for Private Label and retail clients through approved client relations and better factory performance.
  • Effectively improve factory protos & bulk product execution, reduce production delays and quality issues.

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT

  • Reports to the VP of Business Operations
  • Participates in periodic internal and external meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years in product development or sourcing in a fashion related business (Fashion Jewelry/accessories preferred). Experience in Product/Production Management a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Fashion related Business Category.
  • Strong communications skills are essential.
  • Confident and able present to large groups with a high level of professionalism.
  • Strong computer skills in excel, and other Microsoft Programs. Knowledge of Adobe products a plus. Previous experience utilizing PLM and ERP systems are also desirable.
  • Ability to excel in collaborative team environments.
  • Detailed Oriented, and able to multi-task.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
