Branch Manager
We are searching for an experienced Branch Manager at our Medlog Saudi Arabia Limited - Ad Dammam facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job purpose
To manage MEDLOG business by ensuring maximum profitability while maintaining the best possible standards of service and efficiency. It includes being responsible for looking after our various investments present and planned.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and control all operations to ensure that profitability targets are achieved, and that full utilization is made of both vehicles and staff while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Maintain a close liaison with existing and potential customers to ensure that they are completely satisfied with the service provided.
Develop any necessary procedures to ensure that vehicle maintenance, engineering and safety standards are strictly implemented and adhered to.
Direct and control the operation staff to ensure that harmonious working relationships are maintained and to ensure that they are appropriately trained and motivated to carry out their responsibilities to the highest standards.
Negotiate contracts with subcontractors to supplement the services provided by the company's own vehicles and monitor their performance to ensure that it meets the company's standards.
Maintain regular contact with other depot managers to ensure the most effective utilization of vehicles across the company.
Oversee all containers in and ensure that these are unloaded and stored efficiently and safely.
Oversee the despatch operation to ensure that it operates efficiently, effectively and safely and meets customer requirements.
Oversee the use of the warehouse to ensure the maximum use of available space and a safe, efficient and profitable operation which meets customer and business needs.
Monitor all orders received and notify managers of production requirements to ensure that all production, despatch and delivery dates and targets are met.
Develop and implement effective stock control and audit systems to ensure that all stocks / Parts are maintained at the levels necessary to meet production requirements.
Oversee the use and maintenance of the company's vehicle fleet.
Negotiate contracts with companies reprehensive to secure the most commercially favourable terms for the company.
Maintain regular contact with the customer to ensure that there is effective coordination and that customer requirements are met.
Provide advice and guidance to company managers and staff on warehouse utilization, logistics, pallet control, transport costs etc, and the full circle of profitability of the company.
Full coordination with MEDLOG SA (Geneva) on following aspect of the business: -
Day to day business
Day to Day profitability
Account Receivable and Payable
Various reporting and other needed information by MEDLOG SA
Developing new projects within the scope of the company business.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in supply chain or equivalent.
Certificate of professional competence (CPC)2
Minimum Experience
A minimum of 10 years' of experience, 5 years in transport management.
Strong operational and Sales background
Complete understanding of transport industry legislation
complete understanding of Depot , Storage , cargo management , supply chain and logistics business
Technical Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Excellent administrative skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written English - Bilingual (Arabic/English)
Organized and able to meet deadlines (Time management)

Coordinate with CEO of MSC and other mangers in MSC to have the best synergies between MSC and MEDLOG.
