Accounts Receivable Clerk
Location: Chelsea, MA
Pay: $20-$22/hour
Hours: 6am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday
This is a Temp to Perm position
Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Clerk
Customer Invoicing - Electronic and Paper
Complete deposits for incoming electronic payments, checks and cash.
Maintain customer remittances, credits, and customer ledgers.
Ensure complete accountability to the Accounts Receivable based on customer terms, with a focus on outstanding invoices over 30 days old.
Perform end of day / month / quarter reporting in support of Accounting Close.
Respond to customer requests for data and supporting information.
Run various reports needed for further analysis by the Accounting and Sales Teams.
Support the Sales Team in requests for information.
Cross-train with Accounts Payable Associate for coverage of AP tasks.
Handle other miscellaneous Accounting and Sales office duties.
Requirements of Accounts Receivable Clerk
Minimum of a high school diploma. College experience and/or degree is preferred.
Minimum one year's experience in an Accounts Receivable or Accounting role.
Good communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
Accurate, with a high attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Experience in a wholesale, retail, or warehouse setting is a plus.
