Bookkeeper

We are looking for someone to help with some book keeping and accounting. This would be a partially remote job where you would be expected to come to our two locations once or twice a month to make reviews with owner and management. We are looking for someone who is extremely organized.

- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets for our landscaping company and nursery operation

- Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

- Assist with tax compliance and reporting requirements

- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in accounting systems

- Support month-end and year-end close processes

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies or issues

- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Excel, Quickbooks

- Previous experience in public accounting or related field is a must

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
