Smarter HR Solutions is seeking a skilled Part-TimeBookkeeper to maintain financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts,and payments. This role will include working closely with our client's team tocreate and analyze financial reports, create and distribute invoices, process weekly, bi-weekly and/or bi-monthly payroll, and to accurately record all day-to-dayfinancial transactions of our client's company.
Requirements
- Record day-to-day financial transactions andcomplete the posting process.
- Verify that transactions are recorded in thecorrect day book, supplier's ledger, customer ledger and general ledger.
- Bring the books to the trial balance stage.
- Complie and maintain spreadsheets for company tax accounts.
- Maintain schedule and payments of all of all project general liablity insurances.
- File annual no franchise tax reports.
- Quarterly TWF reports and associated payments.
- Reconcile payments made for invoices in each development.
- Send approved invoice submittals out for payment processing.
- Utilize QuickBooks to create, distribute, and pay company invoices.
- Submit payments for monthly company bills.
- Perform partial checks of the posting process.
- Manage invoice summary spreadsheets for PID and MUD BAN and Bond Submissions.
- Process company-wide payroll and distribute paychecks(weekly/bi-weekly/bi-monthly).
- Enter data, maintain records, and launch reportsand financial statements.
- Process accounts receivable/payable and handlepayroll in a timely manner.
- Assist with various bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
Requirements
- 5-7+ Years of Bookkeeping Experience and/or Use of Latest Accounting Principles.
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping andaccounting payable/receivable principles.
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manageaccounting figures and financial records.
- Great Data Entry and Data Collection Skills.
- Must Be Comfortable, Proficient, and Innovative in Operating and Setting-up QuickBooks.
- Strong Knowledge in utilizing ADP.
- 2+ Years of Payroll Management & Processing and Invoicing Experience.
- Hands-on Experience and Strong Proficiency with MicrosoftOffice (Excel spreadsheets).
- Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- High Degree of Accuracy and Attention to Detail.
