```Job Summary```
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. As a Bookkeeper/Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in general ledger reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and is proficient in various accounting software such as Excel, QuickBooks, and Quicken.
```Responsibilities```
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions and resolve any discrepancies
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial analysis and support decision-making processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors
```Requirements```
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper/Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Excel, QuickBooks, and Quicken
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in public accounting is a plus
Note: Account reconciliation skills are required for this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
