Join Our Team as a Bookkeeper

Are you ready to be part of a thriving medical practice dedicated to exceptional patient care, with multiple locations expanding across the region? We're actively seeking a committed individual to join our dynamic team as a full-time Bookkeeper.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

· Record transactions using accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases.

· Prepare and process journal entries.

· Track debits and credits for various accounts.

· Handle payment of business bills and record credit card transactions for all business accounts.

· Reconcile financial statements including all bank accounts and credit cards regularly.

· Generate invoices and receive payments from customers.

· Handle payroll for W2 employees and contract employees, including sending out W2s and 1099s.

· Process payment deposits and postings.

· Manage business and property insurance.

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

· Maintain an organized filing system.

· Create balance sheets and income statements.

Skills:

· Experience with general ledger reconciliation and financial statement preparation.

· Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks – at least one year of experience and certification required.

· Ability to perform journal entries, debits, and credits accurately.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

· Collect and organize financial records, including cash flow statements, bank documents, and loss statements.

Requirements:

· Minimum one year of payroll experience.

· QuickBooks certification and proficiency.
