TRM Concrete is looking for a full-time Bookkeeper responsible for several accounting functions. This individual will work closely with both Project Managers and Operations to allow a smooth workflow of information from the office and the field. Duties include the following:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions, complete the posting process according to cost codes and chart of accounts and cost accounting, review for input accuracy
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, reviewing for input accuracy
- Manage accounts payables: track and process all incoming invoices against purchase orders and contract information
- Manage accounts receivables: track and process all outgoing invoices against purchase orders and contract information
- Track, report and book weekly payroll, PTO and employee benefits
- Manage, track, and update all compliance documents such as personnel and benefits records, timesheets, subcontractor agreements, W-9’s, and insurance certificates in digital and hard copy format
- Organize and archive receipts, invoices, bills, AP reports, payroll and payroll liability reports
Qualifications
- Proficiency in journal entries, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Must have strong computer skills in MS Office Suite and MS Project
- Knowledge of Foundation accounting software – preferred
- Knowledge of Procore Software- preferred but not necessary
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a construction company
- MA Notary preferred
Experience and Education
- Associates Degree with 4 years’ experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years’ experience
